Hadoop Version Required to Install the Ignite

asked by libin1

we want to setup a small cluster to run several machine learning algorithms which require iterative in-memory computing, at the same time, out algorithms was based on the map-reduce paradigm of hadoop. In the Apache Ignite official website, there's no introduction about the hadoop version demanded. Can anyone tell about it ?

what a pity ! hadoop-0.20.2-cdh3u6 is out current version, it seems it's too old. So, it's necessary to upgrade out hadoop ?

Yes, Hadoop needs to be updated to the version range specified above in order to work with Ignite. More info on Hadoop Accelerator can be found there: http://apacheignite.readme.io/v1.0/docs/hadoop-accelerator .
